Welcome to Schererville

Historically, the town of Schererville was referred to as the "Crossroads of the Nation" because settlers traveling to the west used old Indian trails as a major intersection. The intersection of U.S. 30 and U.S. 41 is still known as the "Crossroads of America." Today, the dynamic town offers a variety of recreation, shopping, and dining opportunities.

There are lots of opportunities to have some fun in Schererville. Up Your Alley has activities for all ages including bowling, cyber sport, axe throwing and arcade. They also have a delicious restaurant onsite. JAK's Warehouse is ideal for family fun offering nine popular attractions from go-karts and rock walls to laser tag and a rope course. Nearby there's also Sky Zone, an indoor trampoline park, the perfect place for kids to bounce off some energy!

Hungry guests will have a list of choices from ethnic cuisine to traditional American meals. A local favorite is Teibel's Restaurant, right at U.S. 30 and 41, which has been serving their famous fried chicken and perch for more than 90 years.
